Weekend Walk on the Moon – An Apollo 11 Moon Landing Celebration
The Institute for Earth Observations at Palmyra Cove is proud to announce a “Weekend Walk on the Moon” in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. From special guest speakers to building rockets to walking on the Moon in virtual reality*. There is something to do for every family member. This event is free to the public.

• Moon Quest Map Game
• Outdoor Solar Viewing with Sun Scopes
• Virtual and Augmented Reality Experiences at the Innovation Lab
• Moon and Earth Visualizations throughout the STEM Center
*Two virtual reality experiences will be featured: The Blu produced by WEVR, Inc, and Lunar Learning Expeditions developed at the Institute’s Innovation Lab.
