Moon Movie Fest & a Show (Perseids Meteor Shower)

Event Date:
Saturday, August 10, 2019 to Sunday, August 11, 2019
Event Time:
9:00pm - 1:00am
Event Description:

This will be our first ever movie night in Observatory Park. Based on a true story, The Dish takes a comical & fictionalized look at the 1969 space mission that marked mankind’s first steps on the moon and why NASA relied on a radio telescope in the middle of an Australian sheep farm to bring the images back to Earth. It was the top grossing Australian film in the year 2000. Rated PG-13 (brief strong language, social drinking & smoking).

Stay for a viewing of the Perseid's Meteor Shower. While this isn’t the peak, there should still be plenty of shooting stars to see.
