STEAM Saturdays at Space Walk of Fame Museum

Students 3rd to 5th grades enjou hands on activities at the museum.
Event Description: 

STEAM Saturday - at the US Space Walk of Fame Museum  - 308 Pine Street, Titusville, FL 32796


February 13 - 12:30-4:30pm—Students will explore the size of the Solar System through hands on activities and NASA mission data.


March 12 - 12:30-4:30pm—Students will design and test technology that is used on the International Space Station.


April 23 - 12:30-4:30pm—Students will use the engineering design process to build, test, and analyze the effectiveness of ablative heat shields.


May 21 - 12:30-4:30pm—Students will learn about the importance of art used in mission emblems dating back to Project Mercury through today and will design their own mission emblem.


June 4 - 12:30-4:30pm—Students will investigate how space scientists and engineers use math to explore space.

Activities are appropriate for students in grades 3-5,                                                                

and linked to the Florida Standards for 5th grade science.

Each session is limited to 20 students. To reserve a spot, call 321.264.0434.                                      

(Payment must be received when making reservation to reserve a spot for your child/children as space is limited) Your child should have had their lunch prior to attending STEAM sessions,  they have a much better experience when not hungry.
