Once a month, join Midlands Astronomy Club and the South Carolina State Museum for an evening of sidewalk astronomy! Astronomers from both organizations will set up telescopes on the sidewalk outside Hunter-Gatherer Brewery and Alehouse (900 Main St., Columbia). Viewing is open to the general public, and the event is free. No advance registration required...just show up and enjoy the night sky! 

The event takes place on the Saturday closest to first quarter Moon. Check the museum website for date details.
