The NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center and its partner the Delmarva Space Sciences Foundation will host an Astronomy night on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 7:30 - 10 p.m. with an exploration of Jupiter, Earth’s Moon, the Milky Way and constellation tours of the night sky.
The event begins with an astronomy presentation at the NASA Visitor Center’s Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. followed by night sky observations through telescopes and binoculars on the grounds of the Visitor Center from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. The Astronomy presentation will take place regardless of weather; however, the telescope viewing is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
