Event Description:

America’s Return to Flight! – Presented by Tish Bresee, NASA Solar System Ambassador.

April 11th, SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket successfully launched the Arabsat-6A satellite from Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The payload included Cubesats along with an exciting “Green Propellant” and a precise Atomic Clock that can run 9 million years before losing one second of time. Wow! That was cool.

This Fall, (2019) Space X will fly again with a crew of two Americans onboard the Dragon crew capsule- Colonel Doug Hurley (Owego Free Academy graduate) and Colonel Bob Behnken (Maryland Heights, Missouri). Come to Kopernik to dream with us as American Tech sends Americans out there into Space again.

Colonel Hurlet and Bob Behnken are scheduled to launch their Dragon capsule on May 7, 2020.
